Isang Dekada ng Sining...

HISTORY    The Lipa Integrated Performing Arts Dance Ensemble  is a cultural organization formed in November 22, 1998. The members were composed of young and energetic artists who under went rigid training under the supervision of the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group represented by Ernesto Cortez for the Dance Division, the Theater Division was handled by Mr. George Cabullo of Gantimpala Theater Foundation while the Music Division was orchestrated by Mr. Vic Fernandez and the late Mr. Ado Mojares. The creation of L.I.P.A. was came about of many people led by Mr. Pancho Lardizabal, Conrado Escudero, Ramon Obusan, Malen Recto, Millet Madrideo, Jun Magana, George Cabullo, Vic Fernandez, Cidy Jumarang, Rico Mendoza, Rogger Basco, Ray Mayo, Aylene Acorda and the late Mr. Ado Mojares. After years of training the group venture for younger members called Sining Ratsada trained by Kaisahan ng Lahi Dance Ensemble by Annabelle Judith Ramos Lopez and Michael Aquino.

 

L.I.P.A. performed in several occasions in and out of the city like Sayaw Pasasalamat, Musical Stage Play entitled “Sinderela”, Sayaw Filipinas-De La Salle, Project Voices, Songs and Rhythms; Timpalak Awitan Sa Plaza, LOVE-Lipa Foundation Coronation and Ball, May Flower Festival, Welcoming International visitors, Big Ben Activities, (Lipa City), Sari-saring Sayaw, Sama-samang Galaw (Cultural Center of the Philippines), Tourism Convention held at (Philippine International Convention Center-PICC), WOW Region Four (Intramuros) of the Department of Tourism, and Concert at the Park (Luneta Park) and series of local and corporate shows in and out of the city.
